JK Crabs & Seafood is a multi-generational, family-owned, and operated business dedicated to supplying fresh, wild-caught, sustainably harvested seafood to regional wholesalers in Jessup and Kent Narrows, Maryland.

Our mission is to ensure that seafood is handled with the highest level of care from the point of harvest to final delivery. We take great pride in maintaining a continuously controlled cold chain for both our catch and the seafood sourced from fellow harvesters. From the moment seafood is brought aboard the vessel until it reaches our wholesale customers, every step is carefully managed to preserve freshness, quality, and safety.

This process includes the use of insulated fish boxes packed with ice while onboard, refrigerated transportation from the dock to our storage facility and from our facility to distributors, and climate-controlled walk-in coolers for optimal storage conditions.

Together, these measures ensure that every product we deliver meets the highest standards of freshness, food safety, and quality.
